About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The DevOps Engineer will work at the direction of, and with, technical staff to design and implement systems architectures, CI/CD automation, and other components of full lifecycle DevSecOps processes which are core to the teams success. In addition to design and implementation of architectures, the DevOps Engineer shall support day-to-day operations of DevSecOps systems as well as episodic support of demonstrations and other event-based deliverables.
There are a few requirements for the position:
- Must be a U.S Citizen- Authorized to Work in the US – Must have a Active Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
- Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts.

- Leadership and Management
Collaborate closely with and provide constructive feedback to team members across a range of skill sets and technical areas. The candidate will be required to take ownership of problems and provide solutions, possibly leading small teams both technically and with light project management.
Software Experience:
- 10 years – Docker

Ansible Experience
- 10 years – CI/CD with containers/Cloud technologies
- 10 years – Containerization (Docker, podman, etc.)

Work from home:
This position is HYBRID. The individual will be required to be onsite 2-3 days a week. Candidates are expected to be local at the time of the start of the assignment. Final scheduled TBD by hiring manager.
