Data Scientist- Computer Vision Model Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA (SCIF)
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Poly
Aquila Technology is seeking a Data Scientist to support our government customer. As an early team member of a core competency area, the Data Scientist will be playing a key role in responding and delivering a series of Task Orders. This role will include developing Computer Vision models that need to pass accuracy tests and training of those models over time in a series of milestones. Other areas of TOs received include LLM applications in search and discovery and building a system over a two year period that can de-dupe model findings.
There are a few requirements for the position:
- Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas DON’T qualify)
- Must have an Active TS/SCI w/ Poly and a willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance.
Requirements: Over 5 years of experience in

- AWS
- SageMaker
- TensorFlow
- Python
- AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
